What is Original Speedway Park?
Original
Speedway Park is a kart racing facility that has local and
state level events. The race track was first opened in 1958,
one of the oldest race tracks in Florida. Original Speedway Park is
owned and managed by a non-profit organization, whom have
been in the karting "world" for many, many years.

Park is a family park with a family atmosphere.
When does Original Speedway Park race?
Races will be held on the first and third Saturday of the
month starting in February and ending in December. During
the months of July and August the race track will not have
point races unless a make up race is needed.
When does Original Speedway Park races begin?
Gates will
open at 11:00 am
Registration is open from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Anyone registering after 3:00 pm will start in the rear for
both heat races (NO EXCEPTIONS) No phone - ins....
Practice begins at 1:00 pm
Drivers Meeting IMMEDIATELY following practice
Racing will start at 4:00 pm
How much does it cost to race at Original Speedway Park?
Speedway Park has a spectator area that costs:$3.00 each and
Under 5 are FREE. To enter the pit area the
cost is $7.00 for 5 yrs and over, for the "little" ones 5
and under the cost is $3.00. To enter a race at
Speedway Park the cost is $ 25.00 per race entered for OSP
Members.
$30.00 person racer, per class for Non- OSP
Members
Inquire about becoming an OSP Member.
Does Original Speedway Park have tech inspections?
Yes, Speedway Park races under WKA rules. After the feature events the
top 3 karts must report to tech, at tech it will be advised
what is being teched.
Does Original Speedway Park have insurance?
Yes, Original Speedway Park has insurance thru AKTPA.
