The Flags of Racing at
Speedway Park

GREEN:  A green flag means that the track is clear, racers can begin racing!

YELLOW: A yellow flag on track means caution. When the flagman is waving the yellow flag it means to slow immediately and proceed under caution, the track might be blocked. Use of the yellow flag by corner workers are for caution only. Racers are to hold their position for that area only. If the track is blocked, a full course yellow will be displayed by the flagman and the race will be re-started. Person responsible for bringing out the full course yellow will go to the rear.

RED: You guessed it, STOP! There might be something unsafe, for instance an accident or debris on the track. Stop where you are at --- a track official will tell you where to line up.

WHITE: This flag is waived when there is one lap left in the race.

CHECKERED: The race is complete, slow down and exit the race track.

BLACK: This flag can be used for either rough driving / un-sportsmanship conduct or you have a safety concern. Please exit the track immediately.

BLUE WITH YELLOW STRIP: You are being lapped. The lead karts are going to pass, during the drivers meeting it will be discussed to which direction (high or low) to proceed so faster karts can pass safely.
